Domestic Staff Cooking Program

Beginners Course : starts on 14th July, 2014 (Monday)

Shreyaa’s kitchen offer a basic & an intermediate course for those potential staff who want to take their cooking skills to the next level, with our six week cooking Domestic staff---training program. This will cover all the essential techniques and skills to get your domestic staff cooking and baking for you and your family or guests. 

The course includes basic skills and techniques such as:
Food Hygiene
Stocks and soups
Cake baking (Biscuits and pastries)
Using eggs (Hollandaise, omelets, poaching, meringues)
Canapés
Sunday roasts and barbeques
Vegetarian options and Salads
Ice creams and sorbets
Monday to Friday 3 course dinners

By the end of the program the students will have knowledge of lunch and dinner menus, picnic ideas, pack lunches, canapés and all the basics to keep on improving their skills with our guidance.

Intermediate Domestic Training Class 

Intermediate Course: starts on 15th July, 2014 (Tuesday)

At 1:30pm-5:30 pm and will continue once every week for 6 weeks.
The course fee Is Rs. 25,000 
Please register with Rs. 15000 advance ASAP if keen to enrol your cook.

EUROPEAN DISHES

• Pan fried sea bass with spring onions

• Roasted vegetables with couscous

• Roast chicken with pesto

• Spinach & ricotta cannelloni in tomato sauce

• Summer spinach salad, with oranges, mushrooms and pine nuts in orange balsamic dressing

• Nutty Asian potato salad

THAI DISHES

• Thai chicken/vegetables with yellow curry

• Chicken satay with peanut sauce

• Thai steamed fish

• Honey oyster pan fried lamb chops

• Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts

CHINESE DISHES

• Pan fried noodles with vegetables

• Stir fried Chinese greens in light Soy dressing

BURMESE DISHES

• Chocolate chip cookies

• Queen Victoria sponge cake

• Simple banofie pie

• Moist & fluffy devil’s food cake
