- Eat My Globe by Simon Majumdar
Besides eating and traveling, I love to read. And its not always I come across a book that so fantastically involves all three, like a well synchronized orgy! Eat My Globe is not only 100% drool worthy but Simon Majumdar is refreshingly funny through out. A quick and delightful read I want to recommend to every foodie!
- Medium Raw by Anthony Bourdain
- The first of his book that I have read and I loved it. I really underestimated the guy. Anthony Bourdain is a very clever writer. It was quite a treat reading such personal accounts of so many great chefs! For a book that size he's really packed in a lot. And from what I gather his previous book Kitchen Confidential was written at a time where he was a lot more immature and not to forget angry. He apologises and revokes a lot of what he has written in there. So it seems I picked the right one to start with.
- The Sweet Life in Paris by David Lebovitz
Such a fantastic book. Legendary pastry chef David Lebovitz has packed his bags and moved to Paris. What follows are humourous anecdotes, sprinkled with mouth watering recipes. His unapologetic mockery of his own fumbles and those around him as he adjusts in the most romantic and delicious city in the world.
