Zaffiro Cafe
This cafe has been around town. What started in Meher Chand Market, made its way to Khan market and now in an all new avatar in Zamrudpur (near Lady Sri Ram College and Gk 1 N block). This cafe is made cooler by the awesome home store Zaza Homes that is apart of it next door. You should definitely check out the store too, they have really fun unique stuff.
Zaffiro has several levels and corners you can dine in according to you mood and the occasion.
The main cafe area.
Swanky bar stool setup up for a quick sip or a bite of their deadly looking sundae.
Just another fun corner
Terrace - They let it out for private parties and gatherings too.
Since we still had to go eat a "proper" meal in two hours we decided to keep it light:
- Beverages - Mint Lemonade. Refreshing - standard lemonade with mint. Freshly brewed Lemon Ice Tea. By far the best ice tea in town. No synthetic flavours. Not cloyingly sweet or sour. Just perfect.

- Eats - Greek Salad. This is one of their specialties and was recommended to us by the waiter. Now it was by no means a greek salad. They should really think about changing the name to Zaffiro's Special Salad or something. But nevertheless all the ingredients were super fresh and the salad was delicious. It had so much going on that at first I was a bit nervous but its a great appetiser to share or a meal on its own. It had some greens, basil was nice touch, herby mayo, corn, tomatoes, wilted spinach, some kind of relish and the icing on the cake - The herbed feta was super yummy.

- Fish Cakes - A bit greasy. And more potato in it than fish, with finely diced celery, carrots, onions. Has a lemon aioli on top. The typical anglo-indian way to do this, but it was pretty tasty. It fell under the mains, I felt it's better off as a starter to share.
Fish Cakes
Apparently the real show stopper is their Club Sandwich which is huge and quite a sight. Definitely on the cards for next time. I have also heard their pastas aren't all that great, so pick wisely. Their Desserts did not look so appealing except the chocolate cakey sundae I caught a glimpse of. The cakes on display looked a little dried out.
Budget: Medium - Our bill came to Rs.900
